ReplyDeleteGeorge Washington is facing a lot of things one is by making the rules and making sure they are fair. Getting what is needed in order to be a president. That means watching out for killers and thieves. The most important thing he has to face is to make sure he is doing as he promise or say what he is going to do be done some way some how.
ReplyDeleteAnother challenge and things George has to face is that the world should always be fair no matter what he has to do to make it that way. The other thing he face is dishonest people who don’t care about anything or anybody but themselves so he face a challenge there and also he has people in this world who has a lot of disagreements with him and about what he does or being a president
George Washington face problems been elected as the first president of the U.S. He may face polical problems, giving the right speeches to the people of America.
ReplyDeleteHe also has to have a greater vote of people the the other person tring to take being the president of the U.S. If he is elected president he has to sign of on papers about policital things
As I see it George Washington faced four major issues being our first president: building a new and strong government, handling the financial affairs of our country, finding common ground and good relations with Great Britain and signing treaties with Indian tribes. Washington created his cabinet to help him with some of these issues; as an example Alexander Hamilton, as secretary of the treasury, had the challenge of paying of national debt and handling some other financial issues of the government and our country.
ReplyDeleteDuring the French Revolution there was a debate over foreign policy, which split Washington’s cabinet. Washington expressed his own ideas and came up with the Neutrality
Proclamation. Washington experienced threats over this. This was a big issue for George Washington.
George Washington was loved by both anti-federalists and federalists and his problem was being elected the 2nd time because he might get so much more responsibility on his hands and he might of enrolled in a 3rd presidency election he put his fist down when he wants to talk and he made the world much better
ReplyDeleteHe might want to do and can’t have and they could who had bonds in the foreign nations like france and other countiers and make it better for the great countiers and other things that where that the world like ours.
George Washington had to have faced many problems while in office, but I think one of the biggest ones was that the nation was still fairly new. I think he probably constantly had to fix problems in the government and economy. One of the problems in the economy was money. Washington was challenged with paying off the national debt of $11.7 million to foreign countries such as France.
ReplyDeleteAnother problem with the economy was that the government owed about $40.4 million to U.S. citizens in bonds. Some government problems were trying to keep the power balanced for the branches and the people, and to make changes in the government to work better.
During the end of the medieval time, new ideas flourished throughout. People began thinking of new and outstanding ideas. These neat inventions included: the clock, eyeglasses, flush toilet, gunpowded, lenses and the printing press. These ideas developed as the Renaissance came to be.

The Renaissance happened c.1400-1600 and was a cultural and intellectual movement that was led mainly by the society and politics. It ran from the 14th to 17th cetnuries but was mainly originated around the 15th and 16th century. It is said to have originated in Italy and at its prime the Renaissance was devoted to rediscovering and using classical learning and the attitiudes of the Ancient Greeks and Roman era.
ReplyDeleteRenaissance means "rebirth" and that's exactly what the people of this time had in mind. People were devoted to learning new ideas and teaching old ones. Renaissance thinkers believed the period between themselves and the fall of Rome, which they labelled the Middle Ages, had seen a decline in cultural achievement compared with the earlier eras. They studied classical texts, technical techniques, and textual criticism. They did this to improve the situation of their contemporaries. They were basically going back to their old ways of thinking and adding a new way of life all their own.

Changes that may be made in society will be a movement which stressed the ideas of the classical world, has been described as ending the medieval era and heralding the start of the modern age.
ReplyDeleteIts causes were many, all deeply interconnected and now historians debate the relative importance of each, as well as when the Renaissance actually began.

ReplyDeleteThey wanted to take in new ideas, while sharing the old ways they already knew. Renaissance means rebirth, which makes me think of wanting to expand and take in new ideas. Many items were invented during this time such as the clock, hourglass, and gunpowder. This period was a time of learning and teaching.
The end of the medieval period was followed by the Renaissance and Reformation which started a period of new inventions and changes. Some changes that are predicted to be made are that society classes are going to be totally different than they are now. They are going to be different because our ways of thinking would be different and we would think about races and genders in new way. Also we wouldn’t think there was a type of normal because Renaissance times nobody was like anybody and everybody had their own styles.
ReplyDeleteOur inventions would be different too. They wouldn’t be as technology advanced as they are now because we wouldn’t have anything to expand our mind. They also wouldn’t be more advanced because we would be stuck in our mind thinking and never have to use our brains for anything especially not creating new technology.
The Renaissance brought many new ideas, changes, and reformation to the world. Many of the ideas that were brought up at the time were drawn from ancient Greece and Rome.
ReplyDeleteThe world was ready for change, they kept some of the old ways as well as adding many new ones. They had many new ideas and people became humanists and much poetry was written during this time. Many great artists also decided to pursue their work at this time. The ending of the Medieval Period ushered in the Renaissance and Reformation. It was around the 15 and 16 century. They have taken many ideas from the Greek and other people.
ReplyDeleteSome changes that they wanted to make would be in learning and teaching. Some items that they change would be in the clock, hour glass and gun powder. They were basically going back to their old ways of thinking and adding a new way of life all their own.
The Medieval Period and the Renaissance and Reformation period both marked different stages in society. These were also marked by new innovations, ways of thinking, and inventions.
ReplyDeleteChanges in society today because of new ways of thinking include things like the Occupy Wall Street movement and advances in technology and new inventions. We are advancing everyday and that can lead us into a new period just as the Medieval Period led to the Renaissance and Reformation period.
The Renaissance and Reforation took place throught out the fourteenth century and lasted througout the sevententh century. It started in in Italy and throughout the years it spread entirely through Europe.
ReplyDeleteDuring the time of the Renaissance many great artists such as Michelangelo and Leonardo de Vinci. Knowing this information I believe that as the time goes on the people of Europe will gain respect and a deeper appriciation for art. Other successes during the time period include advances in literature, science, art, religion, and politics.

Many items were invented during this time period including the clock, the hourglass, and gunpowder. This period was a time of learning and teaching of new beginnings to a new generation.
Some changes that may be made in the society for the medieval period would be that they would have to study ancient history and will try to bring everything they learned into harmony with Christian teachings. And that new emphasis on the power of human reason developed, and many advances would be made in the arts and sciences.
ReplyDeleteThey would also probably turn to classical Greek and Roman literature to study grammar, history, poetry, and rhetoric. These studies are called the humanities, and people who specialized in them were humanists.
The Renaissance and Reformation came straight in after the Medieval period. These were two totally different time periods that were very close together. And with every new time period there were new thoughts and ideas.
ReplyDeleteEveryday there are advances in our society. I think that there will soon be many new ideas to help with our economy and our environment and our government. I am predicting these things beccause of the things that our currently happening with the people such as Occupy Wall Street.
The Renaissance and Reformation was a cultural and scholary movement. This started in Italy and spread throughout Europe. It had lots of effects on developments that led to today's society.
ReplyDeleteI think there are lots of changes that may be made in society do to new inventions and ways of thinking. Some of them are technology, occupy wall street, learning, and teachings. To make those changes they would have to rediscover the classics from Greeks and Romans.
The definition of renaissance is "rebirth" and this rebirth brought many new ideas and inventions. Not only did it do this but it brought an entire new way of life in.
ReplyDeleteThe renaissance was based around a scientific and artistic movement, science began to focus on the study of humans and art began to focus on human sculptures. In this era many new helpful inventions were created, some we still use today are gunpowder, glasses, and clocks.
George Washington, in my opinion, faced a lot of problems since he was the first present in all. I mean if it was me, I would not know what to do. Of course I don’t have all the knowledge he does… But beside the point, there were probably a lot of laws that need to be made, people needed to make important, and all that “good” stuff. Washington probably had a ton of work to be done!
ReplyDeleteThere was no real presidential election. There was no opposition to Washington. It was a foreign conclusion that Revolutional Was hero George Washington would be elected. So he had a lot to think about. With no one being president before him, I don’t know how he would be able to do things, how to run things. But knowingly, he made it through.
George Washington faced two major challenges. Domestic and foreign challenges, not to mention these weren’t the only challenges he faced but the main two. Some domestic challenges he faced were establishing and overseeing the critical government structures. Including the separating of legislative and executive powers, the creation of the Cabinet, Judicial branch, Supreme Court, and the Bill of Rights. He also faced severe financial problems surrounding the raising of revenue to retire debts from the war of Independence.
ReplyDeleteSome foreign challenges he faced were he had to maneuver a balance between England and France. He had to navigate numerous British provocations. There was a corruption by his 2nd secretary of state over his acceptance of a bribe from France to oppose a treaty with England.
